The plain-language version

Privacy should be easy to digest.

Pizza Pizza Pizza collects only what it needs to run your account, publish the pizza posts you choose to share, and make the app useful. We do not sell your personal information or use third-party ads.

Effective July 15, 2026

1. Information you provide

We collect account and sign-in information, such as your Apple account identifier, email address, or phone number, depending on how you choose to sign in. We also store the profile details, pizza posts, photos, ratings, recipes, comments, follows, likes, saves, and place information you choose to add.

Phone numbers and authentication credentials are private and do not appear on your public profile.

2. Photos, dates, and location

When you select a photo, the app may use its capture date to help set the date of your pizza log. For posts about pizza you ate, a photo's location may be used privately to suggest nearby restaurants. You choose and confirm the place before publishing.

For posts about pizza you made, source photo location is discarded. Photos shown to other users are re-encoded without EXIF or GPS metadata. Original source metadata is not public.

3. Device location

If you choose “Use my location” or enable Nearby, the app requests location only while you are using it. We use that location to show nearby pizza places. We do not request background location and do not add your current location to a post automatically.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure your account;
  • publish and display content according to your choices;
  • power feeds, follows, likes, saves, comments, maps, and search;
  • provide support and communicate about the service;
  • detect abuse, protect users, and maintain reliability; and
  • understand and improve product performance.

5. Service providers

We use service providers to operate core parts of Pizza Pizza Pizza, including authentication, database, file storage, and infrastructure. These providers process information only to provide services to us and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations. Apple Maps services may process map and place requests under Apple's terms.

6. Sharing and visibility

Profile details and posts you publish are visible to other users according to the product's sharing controls. If you use the iOS share sheet, you choose where the generated share card and caption are sent. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is active and as needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations. You may request account deletion through support. Deletion removes your profile content and associated authentication identities, subject to limited legal or security retention needs.

8. Your choices and rights

You can choose what to post, decline location access, change iOS permissions, edit supported profile details, and request access, correction, or deletion of your information. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.

9. Children

Pizza Pizza Pizza is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will post the new effective date here and provide additional notice when appropriate. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@pizzapizzapizza.app.
